Default Albino Polypterus

I have two of it at home... But don't really know its background. Just wanting to know what size can these fishes grow up till. Will be posting the pictures up soon.

Shaylynntan,

it can grow about 2feet long

when they are very young their outer gills looks like feathers and alsolooks like young salamanders

Their another common names are called bichirs

In the market u can see some dwaft/ fat looking bichir ,i believe they made specially or purposely deform in away to look like that.

Like the way they made normal rainbow fish into balloon rainbow fish any many other fish like balloon rams and other fish they called "balloon" fish are actually deformed fish.
