Beautiful Betta for Competition

Hi ,

Can any advise how to start collecting competition grade betta fish?
I have new found interest in keeping beautiful betta fish for competition purpose .... but how does one start?

If anyone out there with the experience and wisdom, do share with this freshman

must find fish with potential when young... then u groom... flaring exercise... give good food... live food is best.. water condition also must be good... poo must be siphoned... simply put... must take care like a king... haha.... then u will have a nice betta.... just my 2 cents bro..

i put mine with a guppy and it bite its tail any idea when the fins will restore back to its glorious form
