Hsu,

Can you help to obtain a PURE culture of the freshwater variety from your veterinary contacts. Think this could be as good as VE and replace bbs totally till the fries take moinas.

Asked the AVA the last time and they say...oh we havent any at the moment...do you want the marine variety <img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle>

Will check....but I think it will be difficult to keep a pure culture going well. Best thing is if there is such a thing as rotifer cysts that you can buy and just dump in the fry tank - they hatch, get eaten....next batch!

An adult rotifer is approx the six of a newly born moina. rotifer cyst if any would be so fine like talc powder....if you ha-choo....all w2ill be blown away.

I will make a trip to the reservoir and see what I can collect.
