Roy,
Maybe can highlight in BettaHan about the new Student rates. Also when will be effective officially and how to go about it the other way, etc.. Need to bring in more members. Also need to highlight which type of members got voting rights.

From the soft launch experience, nothing beats having s smallish display of fishes on that day. just a thot.

Agree. As mentioned previously, we should have something that would make people go for the AGM. Making an announcement that there would be fishes available for all to see might do the trick.
Show of hands who would be bringing some fish. I can bring the red STM that I got from Straits.

Not more than 5 from me. If the fries grow quick enuf, could have more.
It does have to top notch fishes, just something for people to view, share, exchange views.

Hahaha ... not really so much into Luo Han lah ... still like betta better.
But it is nice to have a few nice Luo Hans at home to decorate the tank setups. The nice thing is that they dun die ... even with minimal water change. :)

Strongly suggest that we get some tables and tell everyone that there would be a betta exhibition and that everyone is invited to bring their fishes.

HI Roy,
Is the booking of room from 2-4pm or 2-6pm? Since the AGM is 2-4pm, then the fish exchange, etc.. is from 4-6pm right?

Edwin Lim also mentioned that he will be bringing some pastel pairs for sale.
Maran will probably bring some too.
As for myself, I might bring some Opaques and some Irids double tails.
Maybe we can gather all these info to be forwarded to the members so as to entice the members to be at the AGM.

Can I clarify sometime, Roy? Are we inviting non-members to join in too (of course not for the AGM) for the fish exchange, sale, etc. activities after the AGM and trying to recruit them?
I'm a bit confuse and didn't read all the posts recently due to tie up with the auction thing.
Appreciate your enlightenment, lol!

Yah ... I also confused here.
We will be allowing members to bring in friends to the AGM.
Does that also mean that the event is also open to public?

Now we are talking. If this doesn't get members' juices going, nothing else will. I mean where else to go see a mini exhibition cum sales. Put this up at BettaHan and we might see a few new members.
Btw, those bringing fishes must also bring their own containers right?
