does crowntails jump high? i know plakats can do high jumps. my friend's female CT jumped out and died but seems that male CTs can't really jump i placed some worms around 1 CM above the water level. It seems that my male CTs can't reach them by "hopping".

it really depends. Straits say they are short tails, so there will be more or less a chance for these fishes to be 'jumpy'

Feel that Crownmoon is very different from CT plakat. Crownmoon has a larger and longer anal fin and the overall outlook also somewhat differs from the CT plakat.

Can anyone verify this?

let me try ah on genetic term.
out of 100%, i believe there is 5% chance that there is codominance between short fin and crown tail.

Sebas, this CrownMoon is little cuties @ 3 month (1" lenght) but they will grow to as big as Plakat. I got a pair fm Strait on the 1st day they released them, happen to be there looking for Marble end up uncle kept pushing me to get Crownmoon.:D

not bad. I also intendted to get a pair to try spawning but too bad not into plakats.

But i do feel that it's a very good fish. :)
