Pineapples can be crossed to their phenotype counter...
or simply reds or yellows...Any NR genes should bring you more pineapples.

Pineapples! This is usually resulted from Yellows right?
When we do Ext. Red or Red - sometimes we end up with those Reduced Red body. Dull black body with red fins.
And for Pineapples - is it the same cause like the Reduced Red? Not too sure. Some are like pineapples while some body are more chocolate than pineapple and fins are yellow.

... Me not particulary sure with the genes of pineapples..
If we recall... the lines of chocolates by Mike Arsuaga used to be very good.... Black body and deep yellow fins.. ( real contrasting ) .... Whereas the pineapples we have nowadays are derived from crossing of red to yellow.
Edward... did have a few pineapples for sale at his booth at the exhibition yesterday..

Yes, I do suspect most probably they may be inter related. There must be something that cause their body to turn dull or black.
