1 month ago i tried to breed my female betta. I left her inside the tank with a male. 2 days later the male was more bruised than the female, his fins were all torn.. So i separated them.
Then last friday i paired the same female with a different male this time. Initially she seemed interested so i put a cover on it and lefted them alone for 2 days as suggested by my thai breeder friend.. today i checked and found that my this male also had his fin and tail all torn off.. Only body left.. Is this a problem with the female? Has anyone experienced this before? Is my female not suitable or too aggressive for breeding?
