mmm so isnt it gonna 'clash' with aquarama ...again?
why dont we consider moving it further back....ask TK I meant, cos the original plan was to 'rest' during events like aquarama.
So have we heard anything abt refunding and such? They just kept mum and assume all particpants will know.

Same way as those participants in the Asian Games. As this is Asian Betta Competition, each member country will take turns to host it.

The next local betta competition will be Betta Kingdom's competition next weekend.
After that will be Aquarama's competition in Oct/Nov.
We do not have a date for the next National Betta Competition yet but due to the lateness of Aquarama this year, we may consider organizing it near the CNY period next yr.

well theres a price for everything. u have to pay for the effort of the breeder who painstakingly experiment and its no easy task breeding fishes. what u pay is what u get, but whether its worth it anot its really up to the individual's spending ability as well as how he sees the betta. for me, if i can get a betta i like, $15 is alrite, but i wont go beyond $20 definitely.

Very true and when you breed with mediocre bettas you will end up with more mediocre bettas as well. Maybe that is why the standards of bettas have taken a nose dive. Gone were the days when people were willing to pay hundreds to get the best breeding stock with the aim of breeding the best. Sigh!

The BCS and international betta lovers really do need more people who are quality orientated like you Mr. Sebas:D The distinction between quality and quantity. I guess this is where breeding stocks makes the different. You need to breed quality to get quality. Breed rubbish and you will get rubbish.

Thanks waltz [ber]
just to clarify, 32branch is abit too demanding though.
One thing is for sure, I am a believer of higher quality = more $$$.
