A reasonable sized tanks at most 2 ft is very sufficient liao.

Ketapang extract to be added in the water of breeding tanks. This is to make the fish feel more comfortable and calm enough to spawn.

A half cut styrofoam cup from those takeaways tea cup is sufficient.
Adhesive tapes to hold the floating cup on the water in place so that it dosen't floats around.
This is for the male to build its bubble nest, so that it does not easily disintegrate.

A cut out plastic bottle ( 1.5 to 2 litres bottles holding carbonated drinks or mineral water ).
This is to hold the female, separating it from the male till she's ready to spawn.

Long time since coming to the forum.

Hi - how do we know that the female is ready to spawn?

when there are visible vertical bars for dark fishes... =) or when their egg sac seems to be filled with egg and they flare back, doing the "head drop dance"
