Any recommended SAFE species of bottowm dwelling fishes that will eat up leftover foods at tank bottom of fries...w/o eating the fries of cos..ha!

depending on the size of the fries ... apple snails might be good to serve that purpose.

Yep ... pleco will be too fast for some of your young fries ... and they have large suction mouth to make them more dangerous.

Find something slower ...

But for adult betta, a pleco in tank is alright.

erm....what abt baby shrimp ?? not bbs la. yamato and ghost shrimp type. i think can but then again, have to consider space and equipment for breeding them !! [cnf]

i think pleco isnt a gud idea...
my betta killed my pleco... :(

Your betta will make a yamato/ghost shrimp shashima out of the prawns you put in.

I am thinking of trying small RAmshorn snails, but only for larger fries. For small fries under 2 weeks, the best is change some water, up to 70%
