I don't think it's any form of terrorist act.

Juz plain human error in this case juz like our expressway car collision. I think with the advancement in Radar technology, even if it's less than 300m, it should still be able to detect using other instruments.

The was a British author the came out with a book recently that indicated clearly that Singapore will be able to over-run Malaysia in less than 4 hours in the event that there is war.

The Malaysia foreign minister was hopping mad upon knowing it ...

He also mentioned that Singapore's air-force is more powerful than Malaysia and INdonesia combined.

In Singapore we have 0.4M soldiers while malaysia less than 0.2M.

True or not .... we wun know unless war starts ... but hope the day wun come.

PEACE ...

Guess in war, quantity of soldiers is not enough. Quality of soldiers are more important. It will be good if have both quantity and quality.

What do the Brits know? Remember where they faced their canons when the Japs came ? But then again, that brit author may not be totally wrong. We have done our own analysis...maybe not in 4 hours but the Malausai half-past-six leaders better know how to contain their jealousy and when to shut their big fat gaps...

This person knows quite a bit about Singapore. Here's a short introduction of the author of "Defending the Lion City":

Tim Huxley is the Director of the Centre for South-East Asian Studies at the University of Hull, England and an Associate Fellow at the Royal United Services Institute for Defence Studies in London. He was a fellow at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies in Singapore from 1985 to 1987.

Huxley main focus in the book is about how effective the SAF was a deterrent, not as an aggressor.

The book itself act as a good deterrant as well .... esp good when it is not from Singapore's rep.

haha, a war between the 2 countries is not advisable, not forgetting we have indonesia at the other end. most people here will have relatives in malaysia, so its not likely for a war to occur. But if our dear neighbours keep biting our dorsal fins, things may turn ugly thats for sure.
