Photo Album Mod Now Done!

Hi members,

Another Christmas Present for you - Photo Album is now available in the BCS forum (see the main forum page below titled Betta Club Singapore Forum Photo Album). Click on it and follow the instruction. It's rather simple to use though takes a bit of time to get use to it.

Try to limit your photo size to 400pixel x 300pixel or 352kb, otherwise it will not be uploaded!

Enjoy meddle with it and let me know if there's any problem, hope not! I've yet to fully explore it so I can onli try my best to help.

Anyway, let's try it out and meddle with it together.

Uploaded 2 pics liao. When I click on my own album, under the categories, the icon showing NO PHOTO but I have already uploaded. A bit misleading. Only after I choose one of the upload to become a category photo then the icon change.

Try uploading same photo into 2 different folders, cannot. That's good. Test moving photo to different folders, ok. Renaming ok. Delete photo ok.

Try upload a large file over the limit, no error message. Dunno where the file gone to. hahahaha

Thanks for trying, me too a bit blur about it, haha. Well, as it's a newly done mod, and I've yet to get use to it so can't really help much except to say keep trying.

I have tried to upload a picture from my website and it did not work. Guess the source must be from hard disk. I later uploaded one picture from my C drive, but it said no picture in the main album. Really blur lah....

Seems like you have to make one of the photo in your album the category photo before it is okie.

As what Samuel have said, you need to have your category created or download to you main album directly. Your photo size must not be more than 400 x 300 pixel as it may not be uploaded to the album.

You can onli upload from your harddisk of course and that's why it's called upload. It's not going to work if it's a link from other website. This is different from the Avatar where it's going to be a link of the picture from the other website at this moment.

Maybe try a few more times and you should get used to it.

Hi Chris,

I think if you try to "Edit Photo Options/Delete Photo" the photos when you are in your own gallery. The image is not able to display on the top page.

Thanks guys, starting to get the hang of it now. Chris, is it possible to let the forum members show their album at the spot for the avatar like what Arofanatics forum has? That way, forum members can get to know each other's fish collection and interest better.

BTW, your Avatar cannot be linked from Geocities as Geocities disallowed linking to other sites.

OK Guys,
Now the Photo Album main page will shows the number of photos the member have in his/her album. For example - Steven Cheng [1] means he has 1 photo in his album. No more guessing game which is an empty album, lol!
