Hmmmm.. i change my tubi using the same method. use to use M.Blue but found it a hassle and the tubis tend to die off rapidly. i do not clean the daphnia because the source i obtained from is very reliable. just trap them into the net as i pour out the water and dump the trapped boons into the tank. bloodworms can be cleaned using the same method. run them in the net under running water for a minute or a few minutes if "kia-see". once washed, you can see the waste stucked to the net. just dump the BWs into fresh container of tap water. can use M.Blue too but again, hassle factor. usually, i will dump the bloodworms on the day of purchase itself. no longer take the risk to keep them. of course, we should take note of the quality of the BWs itself. Some LFS, or rather quite a number of them, tend to keep the BWs beyond shelf life and mixed them around with fresh BWs. this is something to take note of and i usually discard the entire pack if the "freshness" factor is not there.
