Hi there
Believe that your female is stressed. Should be alright after some time. If this continues after a day, suggest you take her out, re-condition her and try again after that.

My female passed away 2 days ago so i am going to a local asian fish retail today to enhance my breeding stock.
I was thinking about keeping my male and getting another male and then buying 2 females and separate the males in glass chimnies inside of a ten gallon (half filled) and put the two females in the ten gallon tank so they can swim around the males that are in the chimnies. The females can get plump with eggs and the males can build their bubblenests.

Hi there
I would suggest conditioning the male and female separately (i.e. out of sight of each other) for some time (at least a week or two) before letting them have sight of each other.
