any comments on the above combination?

Chances are you will end up with 50% green and 50% blue fish with red wash - the genetics should be the same (think turquoise x blue). Likely will keep the mask characteristics but I suppose the coverage will vary with individuals. Body shape etc - can't tell.

Never done anything like this so this is just conjecture. Let us know what turns out.

Hi , jonathan , i have a spawn same as you . blue mahachia x green mask. already 2 week old. started to show colour already. will inform outcome as it progresses

I just happen to browse through the web and found Mahachai. Thought noone has it yet but din expect already got people spawning them. Derrick, how's your spawn since they are at least 8 wks old by now. Got chance, I would like to take a look at a Mahachai as well.

yes kenho, you are welcome to take a look. my earliest spawn(greenxgreen),all dead due to water problems. have another(blue xblue).the father came in 2nd, alrea 6weeks old ,showing colour but not ready for sales.i have another(mahachiagreen x mask) about 6 weeks old. and a few spawns of gold imbellis(fries from the 1st price winner)the gold are ready. 75%of spawn ,liked father(gold),25%copper but with golden finnages.thanks and regards Derrick++
