Crown Tail Plakats

Hi Guys,

Was told that the in-plakat in Thailand now are the crown-tail plakats ... possibly a side produce from a plakat X crown-tail in bid to increase the caudal spread.

Anyone have seen one? Is it nice? Any pics?

How does the crown extensions look like? Long? short? DR? DDR? Multi-Ray?

Like a CT that hasnt reached puberty..........short in all aspects.

Okie ... then in that case I think I have quite a number of them from my most recent spawn.
Cute with very short crown extensions ... and yes you have described them correctly ... CT that have not reach puberty. =)

As of now I am still a CT-blurr-blob.

errr..hmm...howvever after christmas, thou shall be breeding several pairs from Henry Yin's lines.....until then.....dont talk to me about what CT and Plakat CTs....kekekekeke

Have U all seen the Strait NEW halfmoon crowntail? All the fins look like CT except the tail is HM:)

'Halfsun' type? Its been around for a while.

Was at straits to buy 'mossies'. Saw a few plakats that were obviously bred to CT. dorsal n anal are short like plakats but rays extension pretty long. The caudal is usual round but not long rays sticking out like the other fins, just slightly jagged comb like etxensions. maybe fish still young-ish ! They were Red.
