Was suppose to be at Fred's clinic but lazed. Those who attended the talk, did Fred say some blur-soles accidentally applied this thing to water instead of through food, but there was satisfactory results?
Hsu, maybe you could remember best since you so near to Fred that day :D

Foo Hong,
Actually I was out of the room when that part of the talk happened - was doing an "interview" with Chris for a possible newspaper article.
Anyway, I have some detox and have used it a little previously. Did not like it as I couldn't get a good oral delivery system figured out - didn't seem to absorb well in defrosted bloodworms (at least I didn't think so), and it killed tubifex since alcohol based. Have not tried soaking pellets as at that time, my fish weren't too much into pellets.
Maybe if can be used in the water, will solve our problems?
I think Joe Lim - our committee member previously - did use it for his bettas and did say that it worked well.

I will use it diluted, so it doenst kill worms. I dont think can use frozen BW.....
You will most likely need live thgs that will first 'drink' it, then feed to bettas.
I ve tried that with vitamins and it works based on same principle.

used it...twice...diluted of cos....
A couple of fishie did show a surge in size...not all fishes tho. Dont know whether it is due to Detox or just the feeding regime.

I was at the talk, bought detox the following day and have used it daily since then. I add the liquid to Frozen BW-about 3 undiluted drops per cube and let it soak for about 5 minutes before feeding to some of my fish. I won't dare to say for sure yet but the colour of detox fed fishes seems to have deepened and they appear more lively than those not on detox. Also added detox to tbw and fed to frys - same 5 mintes soaking before feeding-(tbw were still alive before feeding)- no know effect yet....

I supposed you guys got the Detox from Dr Fred. May I know whether it was purchased off the counter or did you guys have to request for it through the doc himself?
And what is the price? How much is the quantity? and how much can it last?
With Best Regards,
Sam

When I was there, Dr Chua was not in. His nurse called him and he gave her the permission to sell me. Price was $10.00 for a bottle - don't have the actual size with me right now but it's slightly bigger than normal Baby's cough med from clinic.

Sorry I couldn't make the talk but what's this detox stuff for? I'm interested in getting vitamins for my betta but not sure what's good for them. Is detox a type of food supplement?
Someone mentinoed SERA's fishtamins.

FOUND Detox on sale in most of the fish shops at the West side. Priced at 18.50 for a small cough drop medication plastic bottle. Dark brown solution.
Since FH not testing anymore, I am not too sure will anyone try to buy and use it. Looks yucky to me. Even the shop owners also dunno what they are selling. hahahahaha.

At the animal clinic near Jalan Kayu.
On the left end of the stretch of shop-houses that sells the famous Jalan Kayu prata.
Near the egg whole-seller.
