[u]BCS Monthly Gathering - September</u>
(Members Only)

After a hectic month of August for the BCS (if you can still remember our BCS Roadshow that just ended 2 weekends ago). It is now time to slow the pace a little for the month of September. Nothing heavy that the club have planned for you ... just a small gathering at Kebun Bahru C.C. to spend your lazy Saturday afternoon.

This will be the first of our series of monthly gatherings organised just for the club members to interact and exchange ideas about betta-keeping.

Venue: Kebun Bahru C.C
Date: 21 Sept 2002
Time: 2pm to 5pm

Rest assure that there will be nice bettas for viewing and for sale. In fact, all are welcome to bring their fishes for sales/exchange too.

Just an indication of what you can expect to see at the sale ...

- Royal/Steel Blue HM M/F
- Opaque Plakat M/F
- Pastel HM M/F
- Yellow Plakat M/F
- Wild Bettas
- and many more ...

PS: More info with be provided when the date is nearer ...

For members that are interested in joining us on that day ... do drop me a mail at samuelphan@hotmail.com to confirm your attendance.

For non-members that are keen in signing up with us ... you can also sign up with the club on the day itself. But remember, a recent photo is required. For students that would like to make use of the concessionary membership, you will have to also bring along a copy of your student pass for submition with the registration form.

Wah, the Ext. Red pictures are really gorgeous! So for those who intend to stock up and buy some good breeder pair for the BCS Dec. competition, it's the best time to do so now. You have about 3mths to spawn and 'beef' them up for the competition. Don't wait till the last minute, otherwise all the good stocks are gone. :D

hi, sam yes i have some copper female but cannot committed now cos i needed to confirm they are pure copper female, as for green and blue ,i have a few pairs.as for my koi plakat , my last pair in the spawning tank.see them spawn this morning but not dropping of eggs. will see again tommorrow.

The standard of bettas from the members really have gone up and I'm sure that this year end competition, we will have more and better show quality bettas than the last one.

So after purchasing so many bettas during the past few events, it's time to know how to take good care of them and seeking the correct cure for those sick bettas. Hope to see more members participating in our next event on 2 Oct 2002 : A talk by Dr. Fred on Bettas Disease and Medication.
