Where to find wild betta in Singapore?

Just wondering whether in this concrete city that we call home ... are that anymore untouched land where we can still find betta living in the wild.

I am hoping to find some betta Imbellis ....

Last heard that we can still find them in Seletar area ...

Anyone can enlighten us???

I recall catching the Malaysian Betta (don't know the genus)and brought two home. That was umpteen years ago. Location was MacRitchie along the pipeline. A track begins from MacRitchie to Seletar and part of it beside a pipeline. It is about 1.5 times the size of a betta splenden and little colours. If kept in the dark the colour is better. It does not flare not show any aggressiveness.

Sorry I cannot remember exact location. I hiked from MacRitchie to Seletar through the forest following a track. Part of it beside a pipeline with a few streams along the way.

i know of one place ,you can find imbellis.he he ... under my mango tree, in the long form box, lot of imbellis .he he .. where to find in singapore ..only possibility..reservoir
