Ok. I dunno where to put this so i think i put this topic here.
Ok. My friend/teacher got some bettas from Atison and one of them is a WILD CAUGHT red imbellis. Why i think its imbellis? Cuz it's got the shine of a imbellis although not full body

But i thought normally wild caught ones are black in color? can i take this scenario for a reason for its redness?
~The water is filled with Ketapang leaves, turning the water red. So the fish in order to blend with the surrounding colors, evolved or changed to red?

Can share with us a picture of your fish? I find it hard to imagine a red imbellis...

Atison called it Wild Red Imbellis. Its even stated on the shipment.
Here's a pic. To me, it looks purely like a red plakat. If you want to see the real fish, I can arrange it to be in Aquarama in a booth i'm working in

Looks like a normal red plakat with lots of irrids to me. Definitely not "wild" as in one that might be found in the wild. Definitely a domestically bred line. Maybe he meant that it was the offspring of a normal red with an imbellis?
